The Government of Maldives (GoM) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Pension and Social Protection Administration project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

Appointment of External Auditor Invitation for Expression of Interest

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received an advance for the Pension and Social Protection Administration Project from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under the contract for the services of external auditor to obtain a professional opinion on the financial position of Pension and Social Protection Administration Project.

RE: INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS TO CONDUCT EXTERNAL (FINANCIAL AUDIT) AUDIT OF MPAO AND PENSION SCHEMES

Reference is made to the Announcement No: 216-MPAO/I/2012/52 dated 27th December 2012 calling for submission of proposals to conduct External Audit (Financial Audit) of the Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO) and Maldives Retirement Pension Scheme (MRPS) for the 3 year period, 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2014.

As only one firm attended the proposal submission session held on 17th January 2013, we hereby cancel the referenced announcement and re-extend the invitation to submit proposals for the above mentioned assignment.
