Doughnuts and Finance
Introduction
Doughnuts and Finance is a financial literacy program for youth organized by the Maldives Pension Administration Office. The program aims to provide the opportunity to learn basic personal finance and money management concepts necessary for youth to gear up for a brighter future. The program covers key areas of financial literacy: earn, save, budget ,spend, borrow, protect and contribute to social wellbeing.
As the name suggests, this program is designed to facilitate learning through interactive presentations, discussions and fun-filled activities carried out in an enjoyable setting.
Participation
Under this program 2 to 4 sessions will be conducted annually. Maldivian Nationals and students studying in the Maldives between 14 to16 years of age are welcome to join one session yearly. Session dates will be announced through Pension Office social media channels. To secure a seat one must register for a session and seats will be allocated based on the order of registration requests received.
