Technical Session on Financial Infrastructure Development in the Maldives

The Maldives Retirement Pension Fund, as the country’s largest institutional investor, sees the development of the financial sector and financial literacy as a key imperative to achieve its strategic intent and objectives. In this regard, Pension Office is conducting a technical discussion session on “Financial Infrastructure Developments in Maldives”. The aim of the session is to; understand the current financial infrastructure of the country; provide updates and information about recent infrastructure developments and developments underway; and create a dialogue about adequacy of; and further developments required to establish a well functioning financial system in Maldives.
