The Maldives Finance Forum 2018 begins with over 100 participants in Kurumba Maldives

Maldives Finance Forum begins at Kurumba Maldives with more than 100 participants including key decision makers from financial sector, government officials, sponsors and partners. This is the 7th consecutive year to the forum and is an initiative by Pension Office.

 

The Maldives Finance Forum was officially launched in 2012, to enable a nationally acclaimed platform to deliberate on issues, promote views and share experiences for the development of Maldivian Financial Sector. Pension Office being the largest potential institutional investor is keen on developing the financial sector and financial literacy in Maldives.

 

The forum has become a widely acclaimed event with overwhelmingly positive responses from the stakeholders and this year with the feedback received from previous year, Pension Office opened the opportunity to interested individuals to register to participate.

 

The theme for this years finance forum is “The Role of Institutional Investors in long-term Financing for Growth and Development.

 

This year the forum continues with Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives as the main sponsor and Public Service Media as the Media partner of the event.

 

The event partners include Maldives Monetary Authority, Maldives Stock Exchange, CMDA, Bank of Maldives, Maldives Islamic Bank, HDFC, MCB, HBL, CBM, MFLC and Solarelle.
